LumenAfri exists because too many communities — children in orphanages, families in
rural villages, learners in hard-to-reach corners of Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa — are
being left out of the AI-driven future simply because they lack reliable connectivity or
access to a device. We close that gap through offline-first AI and digital literacy tools that
work where the internet doesn’t.

What they do: 6th Generations Capital is a technology engineering and consulting
company built around the philosophy “You Think, We Create.” They design and build app
development, agentic AI systems, web platforms, cloud infrastructure, UI/UX, and data
solutions for businesses and organisations across Africa and beyond, with a strong focus on
turning strategy into production-grade, real-world technology.
Why we partner with them: LumenAfri’s offline-first model depends on getting the engineering right devices that are properly provisioned, learning software that works reliably without a live connection, and systems that can scale safely as we reach more communities. 6th Generations Capital brings exactly that depth of technical capability,

What they do: The Richard Nova Initiative (RNOVA) is a humanitarian and development
organisation based in Abuja, working under the belief that every person deserves dignity,
access, and opportunity regardless of geography or background. Their work spans six focus
areas, humanitarian relief and crisis response, education and youth empowerment,
health and well-being, climate action, economic and community development, and peace
and governance with programmes directed at women and widows, orphans and
vulnerable children, unemployed youth, persons with disabilities, internally displaced
persons, and rural, low-income communities.
Why we partner with them RNOVA's target communities are, almost exactly, thecommunities LumenAfri exists to serve: orphaned and vulnerable children, IDPs, and ruralpopulations who are furthest from digital opportunity. Where LumenAfri brings offlinefirst AI tools and digital literacy training, RNOVA brings deep humanitarian reach,community trust, and on-the-ground infrastructure already built to serve the same people.Together, we're able to pair humanitarian support with digital skills — so that thecommunities RNOVA reaches with food, shelter, health, and education support also gain apathway into the digital world.

What they do: Jak Child Empowerment Initiative is an Abuja-based nonprofit working “for
the love of humanity” to empower children and give them a genuine chance at a better
future. JCEI’s work centres on creating opportunities for children who might otherwise be
overlooked, and building programmes around their long-term growth and wellbeing.
Why we partner with them Children are at the heart of LumenAfri’s mission, and JCEI’s
entire purpose is built around the same commitment. Through this partnership, LumenAfri
provides the digital literacy curriculum, devices, and technical support, while JCEI ensures
the programme reaches the children who need it most and is delivered in a way that’s safe,
appropriate, and rooted in what the children actually need. It’s a natural fit: JCEI already
knows how to empower children; we help make sure that empowerment now includes
digital and AI literacy.

What they do: Learn With Us Hub works directly with orphanages, coordinating the
delivery, distribution, and day-to-day management of educational resources so that
children in institutional care get consistent access to learning tools. Their role has included
overseeing the distribution of donated laptops and learning materials, ensuring every
device reaches a child who can actually use it, and reporting back on how the tools are
being used and what impact they’re having.
Why we partner with them Handing a community a device is the easy part, making sure
it’s used well, maintained, and genuinely changes outcomes is the harder, more important
part. Learn With Us Hub does exactly that work: managing distribution, keeping devices
accountable to their purpose, and reporting on real progress. For LumenAfri, this
partnership means our offline-first learning modules don’t just arrive at an orphanage —
they get put to use, tracked, and sustained, with a partner on the ground who cares as much
about follow-through as we do.
