LumenAfri is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious organisation established to design, deliver and scale offline-first AI and digital literacy education for underserved communities. It is a human-led, community-grounded initiative, not a copied urban training model built by practitioners with direct field experience in device deployment, community partnership-building, and responsible AI education. We maintain that rural learners learners & communities should not meet the AI/Digital future last.Â

LumenAfri deploys portable, offline AI-literacy learning labs (preloaded laptops and curriculum requiring no internet connectivity) into rural, off-grid, boat-access and otherwise isolated communities. It trains local facilitators through a Train-the-Trainer (T-T-T) model to sustain delivery, builds AI literacy and responsible/safe-use skills mapped to Nigerian livelihoods and school contexts, and generates rigorous monitoring programs and partnerships.
