LumenAfri is an African-led social-impact organisation working to close the digital divide, not by inventing new technology, but by designing the delivery model that gets existing technology to the communities conventional programmes were never built to reach.
As of today, 23% of rural Nigerians have internet access, compared to 57–60% in urban areas, one of Africa's widest digital divides 28 million Nigerian workers will need digital skills by 2030. 230 million digitally skilled workers are needed across Sub-Saharan Africa, representing up to US $130 billion in economic value 28% rural mobile-internet use vs. 59% in urban areas, meaning connectivity-dependent training fails before it even begins The gap isn't ambition. It's access. That's the gap we're built to close.
